Tsikot Community to Finally Migrate to Tsikot.Com Domain

By May 11, 12 or 13, 2011 (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week) the process to finally transfer the Tsikot.com community from tsikot.yehey.com to its own domain (and servers) tsikot.com will commence. All the files, threads, posts, gallery images and classified listings will be transferred over to the tsikot.com domain.

As such, the different URLs of the present site (tsikot.yehey.com/) will now be located at tsikot.com/. Therefore:

tsikot.yehey.com/forums –> tsikot.com/forums
tsikot.yehey.com/classifieds –> tsikot.com/classifieds
tsikot.yehey.com/gallery –> tsikot.com/gallery

The forums and gallery system will be updated and reopened once the migration/transfer has been completed.

The old tsikot.yehey.com classifieds that are integrated with the forums registration system will be updated and reopened.

During the transfer of the databases, the forums will not be closed. However, new registrations, new thread creation and thread replying/commenting will be disabled. This way, no new data will be written and during the transfer and subsequently be lost once the community is live in our new servers.

The duration of the transfer process will be from 36 to 48 hours or more.

The Tsikot.com Community has been advised of the possible downtime and appealed for understanding for the inconvenience.

Tsikot.com has a New Face!

Last May 06, 2011, Tsikot.com unveiled its new website packed with features to make the browsing better and faster.  It also marked its migration to newer and more optimized servers in Singapore.  Plans are afoot to migrate the Tsikot Forums, Classifieds and Gallery over from Tsikot.yehey.com domain to its very own tsikot.com domain.
